Forest |
 |
Featuring a mix of older, smaller homes and
newer larger homes, Black Forest is ideally suited to those
who enjoy a rural lifestyle but want to remain close to town.
Most home sites are 2 ½ to 5 acre parcels but some
are as large as 20 to 35 acres. Many of the subdivisions here
have riding trails and small lakes and streams. Located northeast
of Colorado Springs, the area still has vacant land available
for custom homes. A new shopping center, the Shops at Briargate,
has made the area even more attractive to those who want to
get away from it all without getting too far away. |
| |
|
| Briargate |
 |
If you’re looking for a family-oriented
community that is safe and pleasant, Briargate is a good choice.
The well-constructed homes are meticulously cared for and
the neighborhood offers easy access to recreation as well
as shopping and entertainment.
Located on the north end of Colorado Springs, the community
also has one of the most challenging golf courses in the state.
Twenty years after breaking ground, Briargate is still one
of the most sought after locations in the area. |

| Broadmoor |

Picture tree-lined streets, proudly
manicured lawns and beautiful landscaping, and you’ll
understand what makes Broadmoor so appealing to homebuyers.
Surrounding the Broadmoor Hotel, a 5-star resort,
this prestigious area boasts some of the most expensive homes
in the entire region. Most of the substantial and stately
homes here were built before the 1960s and almost a quarter
of them were constructed before World War II.
You can readily see the detail and craftsmanship
that went into each home. While you will find some new construction
here, the established sense of community and neighborliness
of residents is what sets Broadmoor apart. |

Mountain Falls and Woodland Park lie some 15 miles west of Colorado
Springs. Residents in the area are attracted to the tranquility
and beauty of the mountain settings. Here, large wooded lots
are the rule rather than the exception. Though more remote than
many of the neighborhoods listed above, the area is still conveniently
located to everyday services such as shopping, schools and recreation.
Colorado Springs is accessible via Highway 24, which connects
with I-25, the main north-south freeway. And there’s plenty
to do, from hiking and camping to mountain biking and horseback
riding through the Ute Pass area, which soars 8,600 to 9,200
feet above sea level. |
